Hiking through Orlando Wetlands Park

Today Tom and Mike came with us to Orlando Wetlands Park; we saw a lot of Florida's water fowl and water critters in their natural environment.  This is a great place to spend the afternoon watching birds and alligators, and along the north side of the park is a creek that has a bunch of fish.  The fish looked like very large carp - something that you find stocked in a lot of retention ponds in this area because they keep the algae down.

We picked this area because there was a lot of rain here last night.  The paths in the park are wide and hard packed sand (big enough for the bulldozers to get through as they maintain the different areas), so surprisingly it is a good area to hike if you want to avoid muddy trails.
